Hi everyone,

This morning at kiwi sports. Room 10 had our first lesson with golf. Our instructor was Hugh and he instructed the rules of what we were doing. While he was telling us the rule’s, we put ourselves into 10 groups of 3&4, and started our first activity. There was a prism shaped target that was numbered from 5 to 1 and we had to roll the ball and get it in the middle as the middle of the target was bullseye but he told us that we had to stand sidewards. So if I wrote with my left hand then I would of had to stand sideways to my left and then try roll the ball.

During the first activity we go stopped to practise the drop cover and hold routine. we do it every year so that we know what were doing if an earthquake hits the city. After the first activity we had to move the prism shaped target behind a hula hoop and roll the ball so that it stops in the the middle of the circle. When he blew the whistle to stop the second activity. He told us to put the two cones in front, lie them down and roll the ball so that it goes into one of the cone's.

im here to talk about why we have a NZ shakeout day.
What is NZ shakeout day? NZ shakeout day is one day where everyone in the world practices the drop cover & hold routine, The drop cover & hold routine is something we do on the day to keep us safe when a earthquake hits he city.
Who's involved in the NZ shakeout day? The people that want to practise the drop cover & hold routine, And also the one's that want to know how to survive during a earthquake.
Why is there a NZ shakeout day? So people can learn more about how to survive during a earthquake and also to pass it on through their generation.
Where is NZ shakeout day? NZ shakeout day is everywhere around the world, anyone can do it. It happens on the 15th of october at 9:15.
How does NZ shakeout day work? For NZ shakeout day all we have to do do is the drop cover & hold routine.
When does NZ shakeout day happen? NZ shakeout day happens on the 15th of october every year at 9:15

Tuakana Teina Day

Bird. Beautiful. Glossy feathers. Strong wings. no other animal in the island is faster then him At the end Kiu was jealous Niuean bird. Kiu thought that the Hermit Crab was sleeping but it had already started the race.	Jealous of Kiu because he isn’t as fast as him. When it is time to sleep Kiu falls asleep straight away but UgaUga slips out of his shell, stays up and started practising. On sunrise the next morning UgaUga tricked him when he slipped out and he had already started. Hermit Crab. Slowest animal in the island

Hi everyone this is my task I done this morning on reading. It was really fun because the bird got tricked and the Hermit crab had already started.

The bird is the fastest animal on the island and the hermit crab is the slowest and the hermit crab won the race.

Christopher and Quitahs Word Of The Week

     

This is Mine and quitahs word of the week task related to reading. We had to put a picture on our task related to the word heroism, Then three sentences with the word heroism in it, after that we had to do the definition in our own words then the expert definition. After that we had to write key words down related to heroism. I had really fun on this task and I would do it again.
